Movement for Renovation Of Shree Panchalingeshwara Temple
The dilapidated old temple is already disbanded. The renovation committee headed by honorary chairman Dr. Veerendra Heggade of Dharmastala, Sri L.N.Kudoor (President), Sri Janardhana Varma Arasa (Secretary/Treasurer) P Janardhan Pai, B Shantarama Shetty(Asst. Treasurer), and a many as 305 members has already commensed the work.The foundation is already build and Paaduka Shilanyasa is over. The total renovation work estimated to cost around Rs.6 crores.
The massive renovation programme of this historically significiant temple commissioned to be accomplished now stands before the people of this region as a litmus test to their perseverance, duty- consciouness and sense of sacrifice. If the people of this region take it as a challenge to accomplish the task as a golden opportunity of their time, and swear in to join hands together, no doubt , the great endeavour will be finished with utmost ease.
The renovation committee has an unshaken trust in the generosity and firm decision of the people to accomplish this task.
The committee firmly believes that with the blessings of Lord Panchalingeshwara and with the dedicated, selfless efforts of the devotees a work of this is magnitude may not be distant reality, but an immediate possibility. The committee requests the people to join hands wholeheartedly in turning this holy venture into a reality.
